Prenatal / Postnatal Yoga Classes
PRENATAL YOGA: Our classes are designed to prepare both your body and mind for the birth of your child. In our classes you will meet other pregnant women in the Richmond area to create a community of support throughout your pregnancy, birth, and beyond.
Tuesdays 5:45 - 7:00pm
MOM&BABY/PRENATAL COMBINED YOGA: Get to know other moms and moms-to-be while you prepare your body and mind for motherhood. This class will focus on strengthening, stress release, and community building. A dynamic class for women in any stage of pregnancy and those with babies 6 weeks to crawling.
Thursdays 11:30am - 12:30pm (This class will be taking a break while Hilary is on maternity leave starting Feb 16th. We plan to resume the class when Hilary returns)
YOGA FOR BIRTH: A COUPLES WORKSHOP: Join other couples in this fun and informative workshop that sets the foundation to cultivate awareness in your birthing body and connect with your partner. Together we will...
-practice breath and relaxation techniques
-participate in gentle partner yoga, moving and relaxing together
-learn various partner-assisted labor and birth positions
Please bring an inflated birth ball. 65cm is perfect for the average height mother.
No yoga experience needed for either partner.

NEW MOMS GROUP:
Taking care of yourself after you give birth is just as important as taking care of your new baby. Come learn what to expect the first year after giving birth, and how to optimize your emotional well being, start to build a community of fellow moms and make a smooth transition into motherhood. The series will provide helpful information, resources, and tips, as well as, time for you to share and connect with other new moms and build a community among each other during a time that otherwise can be very isolating. Topics include but are not limited to:
- Stages of healing after birth
- Your changing relationship with spouse or partner
- Post partum depression vs. baby blues
- Developing your new identity as a mom
- Returning back to work
