Yoga Poses for Back Pain
Back pain is one of the biggest complaints by pregnant women. Weight gain, hormonal changes and postural changes all contribute to pressure and tension and therefore pain in the back.
This pose stretches the back and shoulders and creates more flexibility through the spine.
Squatting relieves back pain while strengthening the legs and opening the pelvis. Caution: Do not squat after 35 weeks if your baby is breech.
Twisting gently relieve stiffness in the back and stretches neck, chest and shoulder area. Do not twist from belly
